Charles Bulfinch, who received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harvard in 1781 and a Harvard Master’s Degree in 1784, is widely regarded as the first native-born American to practice the profession of architecture. Among the buildings he designed are the Massachusetts State House, Connecticut’s Old State House, the United States Capitol Building and – happily for us! - University Hall, which is where you can find us.
