This talk will consider teachers, activism and politics.

 Presented by **[Laurie Anderson](https://laurieanderson.com/)**, one of America’s most renowned – and daring – creative pioneers. Known primarily for her multimedia presentations, she has cast herself in roles as varied as visual artist, composer, poet, photographer, filmmaker, electronics whiz, vocalist, and instrumentalist.

 Introduced by **[Suzannah Clark](https://scholar.harvard.edu/suzannahclark/home)**, Director of the Mahindra Humanities Center and Morton B. Knafel Professor of Music at Harvard University, and **[Anne Shreffler](https://music.fas.harvard.edu/shreffler.html)**, James Edward Ditson Professor of Music at Harvard University.
