The arts and humanities at Harvard are experienced in the classroom, in internships, in clubs and workshops, in terms and summers spent abroad. They surround and enrich the curricular and extracurricular lives of Harvard's students. Many opportunities are open to students who choose to study in the Division of Arts & Humanities.
- Students can explore internship and job opportunities through the Office of Career Services, which also makes available term-time resources for students;
- The competitive Summer Humanities and Arts Research Program (SHARP) provides an engaging and challenging research environment with faculty and University scholars for 10 weeks in the summer;
- Students wishing to study abroad can do so through summer programs, terms abroad, or faculty-led trips with concentrations and courses;
- The Division of Arts & Humanities holds events throughout the year for students, faculty, and community members, from concerts to lectures, receptions to poetry james.
