Windows of Harvard

The Division of Arts & Humanities is proud to be participating in the Windows of Harvard art installation at Harvard University. Our A&H suite in University Hall is hosting several pieces of artwork from community members.

While many within the Harvard community are separated from the physical campus and some of our buildings are empty, the Windows of Harvard: Art from our Community exhibition aims to enliven and fill those spaces with large-scale displays of art.

Windows of Harvard will provide an opportunity to connect our community by “virtually visiting” our beloved campus through the online presentation of remarkable installations in our campus windows. Those still residing and working on campus are acutely feeling the absence of student, friends, and colleagues; so, too, are those learning and working remotely. This display intends to close that distance by providing the unique reciprocal experience that is the creation and appreciation of art. While future plans may be uncertain, this exhibition aims to bring the Harvard community together in the present moment to remind us of the beauty that endures.
