Faculty Deadline: 2020–21 Bok Faculty Fellows

Date:

Friday, September 25, 2020 (All day)

We invite Harvard faculty to apply to serve as Bok Faculty Fellows, in which capacity they would propose and facilitate a Bok Exploratory Seminar on a topic related to anti-racist or critical pedagogy; race, racism, and colonialism in the university curriculum; and/or intersectional and critical approaches to inclusive teaching. Bok Exploratory Seminars offer faculty a collaborative space and community to explore issues in higher education—to deliberate urgent problems and develop solutions, to share promising approaches in teaching and learning, and to create new modes of teaching. For the coming year, we aim to identify up to three Bok Faculty Fellows, each with their own area of interest and expertise related to racial injustice. Proposals are due September 25. Faculty are welcome to talk with Bok Center staff in advance of submitting a written proposal.  Please contact Tamara Brenner, Executive Director, with questions:  tamara_brenner@harvard.edu.
